Mission NAR-6 is a single-player VR puzzle game set aboard a drifting spacecraft. Players must solve a series of logic and dexterity riddles before the ship gets pulled into a nearby star. Built for the VR Pod format, the design had to deliver a complete arc in under 10 minutes.
The Pod format gave us a hard constraint: between 5 and 10 minutes per session, billed by the minute. Every puzzle had to land on the first try in terms of legibility, while still feeling like the player earned the solution. I built the puzzle pacing around three escalating tiers, with clear physical feedback at each step.
Without a teammate to bounce ideas with, a solo VR player can stall fast. I integrated diegetic hints directly into the ship environment so the player never feels stuck without context, but also never feels handheld.
