Rune Tales: The Citadel is a VR dungeon adventure supporting both solo and co-op modes. Players navigate a procedurally decorated castle, solving spatial puzzles and defeating enemies across hand-crafted level sequences.

Level Design Focus

The core design challenge was creating levels that worked for both solo and duo play without fragmenting the experience. Same geometry, different encounter pacing. I designed modular room systems that could scale in difficulty based on detected player count.

Every room had to communicate its logic without any UI overlay, relying on pure spatial and environmental storytelling. HUD elements break VR immersion in arcade contexts.
